Multi-Year Commitment to Fan Engagement
PrizePicks has re-established its partnership with the Atlanta Braves through a new three-year deal. The new deal terms will see PrizePicks remain as the Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner of the Braves, continuing a partnership that began in 2020 and ensuring that PrizePicks is prominently featured throughout Truist Park through static and LED signage. In addition, the “PrizePicks Pick of the Game” will continue to air during the Braves Radio Network pregame show before each regular-season home game. The new agreement will also maintain exclusive VIP experiences for PrizePicks’ business partners, providing unique connections to the team. However, this agreement is more than traditional sponsorship. It emphasizes how it fosters fan engagement to keep Braves fans connected to the Braves, both in the stadium and through media.

Expanding Initiatives for Fans
Most importantly, this partnership presents new opportunities for fan engagement in the 2023 season. One of those is the new “PrizePicks 10 Runs for 10k” promotion, which awards a free PrizePicks lineup and tickets to a game when the Braves score ten runs at home, which would amount to a $10,000 PrizePicks pool. The Fans will then be able to watch the lineup they pre-selected live, at a future date. The goal is to develop/sustain fan memories. Mike Quigley, Chief Marketing Officer of PrizePicks, was excited to announce the extension of the partnership for the 5th consecutive season, and noted that PrizePicks was committed to community development in multiple markets to create long-lasting relationships with fans in all markets. Jim Allen, Senior Vice President of Corporate and Premium Partnerships for the Braves, pointed out that PrizePicks has been a trustworthy industry leader in fantasy since 2020. Unlike many short-term agreements, this long-term deal represents a vision for continued and sustainable fan engagement.
Recognized Industry Leadership
Still, the renewal of the deal also comes at a key time for PrizePicks because the company has recently become the first fantasy sports operator to earn an Internet Compliance Assessment Program (iCAP) certification through the National Council on Problem Gambling, which highlights its commitment to responsible gaming and ethical industry practices. PrizePicks has coupled a strong growth market with unique fan experiences, whereas other competitors seem to be trying to create unique experiences on the backs of sports leagues. Regardless of whether they encounter challenges going forward, the relationship with the Braves seems primed for continued growth, providing new opportunities for fans in Atlanta and across the country.
